Years ago, my mom stopped doing the dishes and switched our family to paper plates for our daily dinners. We didn’t have a dishwasher at home, and she was sick of hand-washing dishes, especially when we hosted large family dinners.

Although I don’t recommend switching entirely to paper plates because they are not as environmentally friendly as reusable ones, they are great for when you’re hosting a large group and want to minimize post-event cleanup.
